MR. D.I.Y. Continues to Send Cares Throughout the Nation Under the Name of ‘MR. D.I.Y. Cares’ with the goal of developing a sustainable society

Bangkok, 18 January 2023MR. D.I.Y., a leading home improvement retailer with the largest number of stores in Thailand and more than 18,000 products continues to support Thai society through various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities under the name of 'MR. D.I.Y. Cares' for the 5th year, aiming to help develop the society and the quality of people’s lives along with creating a society of sustainable growth.

D.I.Y. recognizes the importance of helping to improve society and send care to people and society, therefore; we have continued our CSR activities under the name of 'MR. D.I.Y. Cares' for over 5 years with the aim to help develop society, the quality of people’s lives, and create a society of sustainable growth, as well as, being an everyday store for everyone by offering a variety of quality products of more than 18,000 items in 10 categories and provide convenience with more than 500 stores across Thailand in order for Thais to be able to access quality products at reasonable
prices by adhering to the motto of MR. D.I.Y. “Always Low Prices" which we are ready to be a part of Thais at every moment, festival, and every day.”


“MR. D.I.Y. Thailand has continuously organized various CSR activities since 2019 with more than 30 activities, aiming to send care to Thai people and communities across the country. Currently, MR. D.I.Y. has stores in 70 provinces of Thailand which makes MR. D.I.Y. be capable in terms of both resources and readiness to help Thai in every crisis as well as in social development to create sustainable growth of Thai society; in terms of economic development, we hire local people in every community where we operate to create job opportunities for all Thai people and create environmentally friendly and social development as well as quality of people's lives by carrying out various activities such as cooperation with government foundations and organizations in contributing funds and donating essential to Thais covering in all regions of Thailand”


During the last winter of 2022, MR. D.I.Y. has spread happiness and care to Thai people in 6 provinces covering 6 regions across Thailand including Nakhon Pathom, Udon Thani, Chiang Mai, Surat Thani, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and Chonburi provinces through contributing 100,000 baht for a project named the “Do Good Deeds for Dad 2023” in collaboration with the Thai Red Cross Society to help the Thai who is affected from winter season in Udon Thani in 3 districts: Na Yung, Nam Som, and Ban Phue, supporting meals, funds and essential items to children in the Baan Tantawan of Foundation for Children, Nakhon Pathom, at a total of 60,000 baht, which aimed to deliver happiness to children under Giving Kindness to Children project of MR. D.I.Y. that has been going for 5 years. In addition, as COVID-19 has come back in some parts of Thailand, MR. D.I.Y. had sent care to support Thai people’s health by donating 4,000 antigen test kits worth 140,000 baht to government agencies in 4 regions of Thailand which were Nakhon Chiang Mai Municipal Hospital, Surat Thani Province Health Office, Thanmikaram Municipal Public Health Center, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and Sansuk Municipality, Chonburi to take part in taking care of the Thai during the winter of 2022, as well as supporting public health across all regions of Thailand with the aim to develop Thai society to grow sustainably together with the company.


In early January 2023, MR. D.I.Y. also sent care to the blind across Thailand through the activity of collecting old calendars from all employees to produce braille teaching materials for the blind which were delivered to the Bangna District Office. This calendar donation is part of
“Old Calendar We Request" organized by the Bangkok Green Office to pass on old calendars to
the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand Under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen.


Additionally, on Children’s Day 2023, MR.D.I.Y. also donated gifts and toys to 7 areas in Thailand including Rom Klao Zone 11 Community in Bangkok, Moo.3 Prak Sa Mai Municipality in Samut Prakan, Kamlon Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Wat Nong So School in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Khao Phanom Subdistrict Municipality in Krabi, Krabi Municipality in Krabi, Paklok Subdistrict Municipality in Phuket. The activity was part of the Giving Kindness to Children project which is committed to developing and supporting Thai children in all dimensions including scholarship contribution, donation of necessary items, and participating in activities for children for them to have a better quality of life. MR. D.I.Y. will continuously give back to society, send happiness and care, and create smiles for Thai children throughout all regions of Thailand.
