Bangkok, 1 March 2023 – MR. D.I.Y. Thailand led by Ms. Titanan Sun, Executive Vice President (2nd from left) and Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Head of Marketing Department (1st from left) donated 100,000 Baht to the National Cancer Institute with the aim to support the research of cancer treatments in Thailand, give an opportunity to cancer patients who lack of funds along with support a new building construction of the National Cancer Institute. Ms. Anongnat Aeimsaard, Chief of General Administration Subdivision, (2nd from right), and Mr. Thampaphon Puttakam, Acting Chief of Finance and Accountancy Subdivision (1st from right) received the donation at Somchai Sombooncharoen meeting room, 5th floor at Damrongniradoon Building, National Cancer Institute. This activity is part of MR.D.I.Y. Cares, corporate social responsibility activities of MR. D.I.Y. Thailand.
Ms. Titanan Sun, Executive Vice President of MR. D.I.Y. Thailand said “MR. D.I.Y. is committed to continuing to help the Thai people, community, and society as well as supporting the public health work of Thailand. Nowadays, cancer is a disease that we all should focus on because the number of cancer patients in Thailand is constantly rising. MR. D.I.Y. recognizes the importance of this issue and is ready to be a part of helping cancer patients in Thailand, especially cancer patients who lack of funds. We, therefore, donated a total value of 100,000 Baht to the National Cancer Institute to deliver our care to cancer patients. We believe that this contribution will be helpful to the organization and we will continue to support and collaborate with the various organizations in Thailand to create a strong and sustainable society together”
Moreover, MR. D.I.Y. under MR. D.I.Y. Cares spread happiness and cares to children, youths, and Thais in February by donating varieties of products under MR. D.I.Y. brand of more than 25,000 items such as household items, electrical appliances, stationery, and bags, etc. with a total value of over 1,000,000 Baht to 4 foundations in 4 areas of Thailand including Baan Nokkamin Foundation, The Mirror Foundation, Khlongtoey Deejung Society and Suankaew Foundation to be a part of supporting and helping those who are lacking in supplies along with fulfilling happiness for children and youths in order to develop and elevate the Thai community and society in line with ESG principles of environmental, society, and governance in every dimension.
