Bangkok, January 29, 2024– MR. D.I.Y. Thailand led by Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department, continues to send love and care under the MR. D.I.Y. Cares by contributing used calendars to produce braille learning materials for the blind at the Education Technology Center for the Blind, a Foundation For The Blind in Thailand under the Royal patronage of H.M. the Queen as well as providing essential items for people with disabilities in the Samut Prakan area, through the Social Development and Human Security Office of Samut Prakan Province with a total value of 20,000 Baht.
Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department of MR. D.I.Y. Thailandstated, “MR. D.I.Y. has committed to contribute to the creation of value and support a brighter future for all diverse groups across the nation to reduce social inequality through MR. D.I.Y. Cares which has been actively assisting society for over 6 years. This January, we have undertaken two activities to support people with disabilities, ensuring their access to equal opportunities by contributing over 100 usedcalendars to produce braille learning materials for the blind and funds with a total value of 10,000 Baht to the Education Technology Center for the Blind, a Foundation For The Blind in Thailand under the Royal patronage of H.M. the Queen. The donation was received by Ms. Chanidapha Petrak, the Director of the Education Technology Center for the Blind, Thai Blind Foundation. Furthermore, we emphasize the importance of promoting a better quality of life for people with disabilities in society. In line with this, we supported essential items from MR. D.I.Y. stores to the Social Development and Human Security Office of Samut Prakan Province during the International Day of Persons with Disabilities event with a total value of 10,000 Baht which was received by Mr. Teeradech Kunasong, the Social Development Worker Professional Level, and Ms. Sasirat Sriphom, the Plan and Policy Analyst. MR. D.I.Y. aspires that every support from us will play a significant role in enhancing the quality of life and fostering an equitable society for all Thais.”
