Bangkok, 18 November 2024 – MR. D.I.Y., a leading home improvement and lifestyle retailer, led by Ms. Titanan Sun, Executive Vice President and Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department, sends cares on the occasion of opening over 800 stores nationwide by donating 800 recycled blankets which made from plastic bottles, along with funds of 100,000 Baht, with a total value of over 250,000 Baht, to the Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society. This donation was part of the "This Winter, Do Good Deeds for Dad 2025" initiative, and Lt. Gen. Amnat Barlee, M.D., Director of the Relief and Community Health Bureau (RCHB) of the Thai Red Cross Society, received the contribution.
Mr. Anupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department of MR. D.I.Y. Thailand said, “This year marks the 3rd year that we have supported those affected by the cold at the end of the year in collaboration with the Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society. Focusing on the concept of sustainability, we organised the 'Turning Plastic Bottles to Weave Fibers for Winter Protection' activity within our organisation, in which we have recycled used plastic bottles into 'MR. D.I.Y. Blankets’. On the occasion of MR. D.I.Y. reaching over 800 stores, we donated 800 recycled blankets, along with funds of 100,000 Baht, with a total of 250,000 Baht, as part of the "This Winter, Do Good Deeds for Dad 2025" project. This year, the event will be organised in 3 main districts of Kanchanaburi Province, which are Thong Pha Phum, Sang-khla Buri, and Si Sawat. We believe that the growth of MR. D.I.Y. is a result of the support from the Thai people. Therefore, supporting and assisting communities in Thai society is crucial to us. MR.
