MR. D.I.Y. Celebrates 10th Anniversary by Elevating ‘MR. D.I.Y. Cares’ Partnering with Thai Red Cross in 3-Year MOU to Strengthen Nationwide Disaster Relief

Bangkok, 31 July 2026MR. D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited, Thailand’s leading home improvement and lifestyle retailer, reinforcing its commitment to doing business in Thailand and standing beside Thai people over 10 years, alongside its commitment to corporate social responsibility, recently announced a significant partnership with the Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society at the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony in the areas of disaster relief and assistance for disaster-affected communities for a three-year period from 2026 to 2029, through the “MR. D.I.Y. Cares” project initiative to strengthen disaster preparedness, prevention, and rapid assistance for affected communities nationwide.

The MOU signing ceremony took place on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society. The ceremony was led by Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing at MR. D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited, together with Lt. Gen. Amnat Barlee, M.D., Director of Relief and Community Health Bureau (RCHB), Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS), alongside executives from both organizations who served as witnesses. This collaboration stems from the strong commitment of both organizations to leverage their respective strengths. The Thai Red Cross Society, as the nation's primary charitable organization, brings deep expertise in disaster relief, whilst MR. D.I.Y. offers an extensive network covering all 77 provinces across Thailand in both urban and local communities, supported by robust distribution capabilities ranging from hardware, home improvement, and decoration products to everyday essentials. This agreement lays the groundwork for a swift, comprehensive, and targeted relief network when natural disasters or public emergencies occur.

stated, “Over the past seven years, MR. D.I.Y. has continuously collaborated with the Thai Red Cross Society. We deeply recognize the vital importance of the mission carried out by the Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society, which works tirelessly to assist and relieve the suffering of disaster victims and affected communities across the nation. This year marks a special milestone - our 10th anniversary of growing and staying beside Thai people. We are truly honored and delighted to partner with the Relief and Community Health Bureau for three consecutive years, with a total budget of 1 million baht. This partnership will provide support through everyday essential products available at MR. D.I.Y. stores, including survival equipment, post-disaster recovery supplies, household utensils, and stationery. This support covers various activities and projects under the Relief and Community Health Bureau, including the ‘This Winter, Do Good Deeds for Dad' project. MR. D.I.Y. prioritizes sustainable growth alongside social responsibility. This signing agreement creates tangible value for society and continues our social responsibility initiatives through ‘MR. D.I.Y. Cares’ project, which has been operating for over eight years across Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions. We stand ready to leverage our nationwide store network and essential product range to support disaster relief, recovery, and truly uplift the quality of life for people in times of crisis.”

Lt. Gen. Amnat Barlee, M.D., Director of Relief and Community Health Bureau (RCHB), Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS), stated, “The Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society’s mission is to provide relief and assistance to people affected by disasters and those in need across Thailand. Carrying out this mission requires collaboration and support from all sectors, particularly the private sector that has the capacity to provide essential resources and reach affected areas. This collaboration with MR. D.I.Y. will enhance our readiness to deliver timely and context-appropriate aid to disaster victims. It also serves as another great example of partnership between the private sector and charitable organizations to build sustainable strength for Thai society.”
